The Role

Keep the wheels turning — literally. As a Railroad Mechanic, you’ll inspect, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of equipment including trucks, track machines, and hi-rail gear. You’ll work both in-shop and in the field, supporting crews across the region.

Job Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair diesel, hydraulic, and electrical issues
Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
Maintain service logs and parts inventory
Respond to field calls and get equipment back up fast
Support DOT/FRA compliance

Job Requirements

2+ years of mechanic experience (diesel, heavy equipment, or rail preferred)
CDL-A preferred
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills
Must be organized, self-motivated, and safety-driven
Pass DOT and FRA drug/alcohol screening
